Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for orders placed with G-Volt Solar Energy. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions. If your signed quotation or agreement sets out different cancellation terms, those terms apply.
1. Site survey and consultation
Our site survey and consultation are free, so there is nothing to refund if you decide not to go ahead.
2. Cancelling a solar system order

If we are unable to complete your order for reasons within our control, we will refund all amounts paid for the undelivered part of the order.
3. Government subsidy
Subsidies are paid by the government directly to the eligible customer and are not part of the amount paid to G-Volt. If a subsidy is reduced, delayed or rejected, this does not change the price of the system or create a refund from G-Volt, unless it happened because of our error. We will help you resolve any issue with the application.
4. Faulty or damaged products
If a product is faulty or damaged on delivery, tell us within [48 hours]. We will repair or replace it under the manufacturer’s warranty or our workmanship warranty. Refunds are not given for products that can be repaired or replaced.
5. Supply-only orders (street lights, pumps and components)
- Unused items in original, undamaged packaging can be returned within [7 days] of delivery. Return transport is at your cost, and a restocking charge of [X%] may apply.
- Custom-made, project-specific or bulk / tender orders cannot be cancelled once production or procurement has started.
6. AMC and maintenance plans
- Cancel within [7 days] of purchase and before the first service visit for a full refund.
- After the first visit, unused visits are refunded on a pro-rata basis, less [an administration fee of ₹X].
7. How to request a cancellation or refund
Contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email with your name, order or quotation number and the reason for cancellation. We will acknowledge your request within [2 working days]. Approved refunds are paid within [7–14 working days] to the original payment method or to your bank account.
