These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and to the solar products and services supplied by G-Volt Solar Energy (“G-Volt”, “we”, “us”). By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. The specific quotation or agreement you sign for your project takes priority over these general terms if the two differ.

1. Our services

We design, supply, install and maintain rooftop and ground-mounted solar power systems, solar water pumps and solar street lights, and we help customers with government subsidy, net-metering and finance applications.

2. Website information and estimates

Information on this website, including prices, subsidy amounts, generation, savings and payback figures, is for general guidance. Results from our solar subsidy calculator are indicative estimates only, based on typical assumptions. They are not a quotation or an offer. Your actual price, generation and savings depend on the site survey, your roof, your usage, the equipment selected and current government rules.

3. Quotations and orders

• A quotation is valid for [15 days] from its date unless it says otherwise.
• An order is confirmed only when you accept the quotation in writing and pay the booking advance stated in it.
• Equipment brands and models may be replaced with equivalent or better products if the quoted items are unavailable, with your agreement.

4. Government subsidy and approvals

• Subsidies such as PM Surya Ghar and the Odisha state top-up are decided and paid by the government, directly to the eligible customer. G-Volt does not pay or guarantee the subsidy.
• Eligibility, amounts and timelines are set by the government and can change. We will assist you with the application, but we are not responsible for a subsidy being reduced, delayed or rejected, unless this is caused by our error.
• Net-metering, connection and inspection approvals are granted by your electricity distribution company (DISCOM). Their timelines are outside our control.

5. Site survey and your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Give accurate information and allow safe access to the site for survey, installation and service.
• Confirm that you own the premises or have the permissions needed to install the system.
• Make sure the roof or structure is in sound condition. If our survey finds that repairs or strengthening are needed, this is not included in the quotation unless stated.
• Provide the documents needed for subsidy, net-metering and finance applications on time.

6. Prices and payments

• Prices are in Indian Rupees and include or exclude GST as stated in the quotation.
• Payments are due as per the schedule in your quotation. We may pause work if a payment is overdue.
• Ownership of the equipment passes to you once it is fully paid for.

7. Installation and handover

Installation dates are estimates. Delays can be caused by weather, material supply, site readiness or DISCOM approvals, and we will keep you informed. At handover we will show you how to operate the system safely and share the warranty documents.

8. Warranties

• Solar panels, inverters, batteries and other equipment carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which we will help you claim.
• We provide a workmanship warranty of [X years] on our installation work, as stated in your quotation.
• Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised alterations or repairs, theft, fire, lightning, floods, cyclones or other natural events, or failure to carry out recommended maintenance.

9. AMC and service

Annual maintenance and service plans cover only the work described in the plan you choose. Repairs or parts outside that scope will be quoted separately.

10. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, G-Volt is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of income or savings. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Website use and intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and designs, belongs to G-Volt or its licensors and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

13. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

15. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
